November News Round-up!

It’s been a busy week for some ELCers this month.  Here’s a wee round-up of what they’ve been up to…

Cowboy Bebop Kickstarter

Will Morris has a comic appearing in a new anthology from Short Box celebrating the seminial anime Cowboy Bebop.  It is currently Kickstarting and features some work from a great range of artists.  Definitly worth checking out!

THE GLOW

Edward Ross recently turned a story by himself and Stephen Goodall into a choose your own adventure game.  You can play it here!  Try and save your sister from the clutches of the mysterious Glow cult!

Zhou Fang’s Garden Kickstarter

Another Kickstarter that you should take a look at this month is this one for a reprint of Zhou Fang’s award winning comic Garden.  If you don’t have the book yet this is the perect opportunity to pick it up!

A busy month for Zu!

It’s been another busy month for Zu Dominiak!  They have put together an interactive non-linear comic called My Hair as part of the 2018 Emerging Writers Festival.  You can play/read it here!  We’ll have an interview with Zu about the comic coming up here soon.
As well as that they recently started a new webcomic, Isle of Eye.  It looks very interesting so far!  You can keep up with it here!

Edinburgh Comic Art Festival – 25th Nov

Also, it’s ECAF this month!  November 25th at Out of the Blue Drill Hall in Leith.  There will be a bunch of ELC artists there so look out for a post here next week with details of where we will all be.  See you then!

Dunfermline Comic Con!

UPDATE:  Unfortunately Dunfermline Comic Con has had to be cancelled.  You can read a statement from the organisers here.  The work put into the show by the Little Shop of Heroes crew each year is amazing so it’s such a shame that its become a victim of the weather.  There is a GoFundMe page here to help the Graingers get over the financial impact of cancelling the show

Take a look at that poster artwork done by Hari Conner for this years Dunfermline Comic Con!

We’re currently gripped in Snowpocalypse Now in central Scotland, but barring any ice related mishaps some League of Comicers will be at Dunfermline Comic Con on Saturday 3rd March.  Here’s where to find us at the con:

Hari is a guest at the con this year.  You’ll find them at table 48 in the Glen Pavilion.

The rest of us will all be in the Marquee.
